Recentemente estive no Irã.
Há muito tenho tentado oferecer uma visão alternativa sobre esse país e seu lugar no mundo, especialmente desde a Revolução Islâmica de 1979, e focando o seu papel na contraposição aos Estados Unidos e a Israel.
Estar lá em pessoa é uma oportunidade para, inclusive, testar as próprias leituras e afirmações (lembrando que meu motor principal é o da dúvida e da crítica, ou seja, do constante questionamento de si mesmo e dos outros).
Gravei alguns vídeos sobre essa viagem, e gravarei ainda outros, que publico no YouTube. Deixo aqui o áudio do mais longo desses vídeos e convido a que visitem os demais.

I have recently been to Iran.
For a long time, I have been trying to offer an alternative view on this country and on it place in the world, specially since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, e focusing on its role as an adversary to the United States and to Israel.
To be there in person is an opportunity to, among other things, test one's own readings and contentions (always reminding that my main motor is that of doubt and criticism, meaning constantly questioning oneself and others).
